Episode 5: Yolonda P. Jacobs is a shareholder at Homer, Bonner, Jacobs, and Ortiz. Her practice focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jacobs practiced with the law firms of Herron Jacobs Ortiz and Holland + Knight. Ms. Jacobs also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ursula Ungaro, District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ms. Jacobs graduated from the University of Florida College of Law where she was a member of the Florida Law Review. Before attending law school, Ms. Jacobs was the director of a domestic violence and special assault diversion program with the State Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville, Florida.
